Our faculty are trained professionals who have achieved a level of excellence in their own practice that qualifies them to teach others. In the past couple of months of Fall 2017, our faculty has won awards, gotten press coverage and curated major art exhibitions.


    • Teaching Studios Director Rob Zeller curated a show for Booth Gallery in Manhattan called The New Baroque, based off of his book on resurgence of figure drawing and figurative art, The Figurative Artist’s Handbook. The exhibition features 22 of the best figurative artists working today. From Nov 18 – January 14th. To learn more about the show, click here.

 

    • Jane McGraw-Tuebner was the subject of an article in Plein Air Magazine in October 2017 and was featured on the cover.

 



  • Teaching Studios Director Rob Zeller 
    was interviewed by White Hot Magazine Editor Noah Becker  in the October 2017 issue, about his art, his book, The Figurative Artist’s Handbook and the show he curated, The New Baroque. To read the interview, click here.

 

  • Abigail Tullis was awarded the Stanford White Award for artisan and craftsmen for her sculpture scheme for the interior and exterior of the Millbrook home, by The Institute of Classical Architecture & Arts.

 


  • Teaching Studios Director Rob Zeller wrote an article on figure drawing for The Artist magazine, January 2018 issue, out on newsstands now.
