At the core of the Teaching Studios curriculum is the Certificate Program. Our course offerings will rotate every semester, but these core classes represent the best of what we do. Students may certainly take classes in an a la carte fashion, if they wish, and improve their skills in the area they deem most important. But for those artists who desire to be well-rounded and fundamentally sound, we offer the Certificate Program. To earn this award, you must complete the following core classes:
 
Fundamentals Classes: -6 sessions

Methods of Drawing and Design
Classical Drawing and Painting Program
( still life and plaster casts)
Young Adult Portfolio Development
More Advanced Classes: 6 sessions
Figure Drawing and Painting ( any instructor)- 2 sessions
Portrait Drawing and Painting( any instructor)- 2 sessions
Plein Air Landscape/ Studio Landscape
Master Copy/Independent Projects
 

Two Electives: 2 sessions
Color Theory
Interiors/ Perspective
Introduction to Pastels
Methods of Acrylic and Watercolor

This represents a total of 42 hours
(14 three-hour courses)of curriculum completed.
