Open-Uninstructed Figure Drawing from the Live Model

This artistic event is for creative types who enjoy working from the live model. Unlike the rest of our program, this session is totally uninstructed. Do your own thing.

  • When:
    Thursday, April 19th, 2018
    7 PM To 10 PM, Please get there about 10-15 minutes early.

Saturday May 12th, Open Session Plein Air Painting

Join Instructor Rob Zeller at Muttontown Equestrian Preserve for 3 hours of Plein Air Painting, with instruction. Zeller will offer landscape painting instruction for artists of all levels of ability and experience. Drawing or Painting.

    • When:
      Saturday May 12th. 1-4pm (please arrive about 15 minutes early to pick a spot and get set up to paint).
    • Where
      Muttontown Equestrian Preserve (just off of 106)
    • Cost: $30  (cash only, payable at the beginning of the class)

May 17th
Artist lecture with Abigail Tulis

In this free public event, for the Teaching Studios community as well as the general public, Instructor Abigail Tulis will discuss her work, the historic influences on her aesthetic, and the various techniques she teaches in her Object Studies in Watercolor, Ink and Gouache classes on Fridays and Saturdays.
