NANETTE FLUHR

After graduating from Rutgers University in 1987, she continued her study at the School of Visual Arts inNew York City where she earned her BFA with honors and was awarded the prestigious Rhodes Family Award for Outstanding Achievement. It was at the School of Visual Arts where she met John Frederick Murray, Nanette Fluhr has been featured in exhibitions at the Art-trium, the American Artist’s Professional League, Inc at the Salmagundi Club in New York City, the Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club at the National Arts Club in New York City, the Hudson Valley Art Association, the National League of Pen Women, The Art League of Nassau County, The Lever House, The School of Visual Arts, The Art League of Long Island, The Huntington Arts Council and the Hutchins Gallery at C.W. Post College.

Nanette is an active member of many prominent art organizations including The Portrait Society of America, The Museum for Women in the Arts, The Art League of Long Island, The Huntington Arts Council and the Connecticut Society of Portrait Artists. Most recently Nanette was invited to be a lifetime Honorary Member of The American China Oil Painting Artist League (ACOPAL).
