DEVIN CECIL-WISHING

Devin Cecil-Wishing attended the California College of Arts and Crafts (now California College of the Arts) where he graduated in 2005, with High Honors, from the Illustration department. As an Illustrator, he has worked for a variety of clients including Bay Nature Magazine and the San Francisco Chronicle, and has exhibited his work in galleries across the country. Following his time in college he studied oil painting at the Atelier School of Classical Realism in Oakland, CA and also taught drawing and painting at several Bay Area locations before moving to New York to study at the Grand Central Atelier and turn his attention fully towards fine art. He has received numerous awards including acceptance in to the Hudson River Fellowship and first place in the “Alfred Ross Prize for Excellence in Cast Drawing”. His work has been featured in the Art Renewal Center’s Annual Salon and American Artist magazine as well as a variety of other publications. He has been teaching for us since January 2016.
