Carl Dobsky, Instructor
10 hour workshop
A step by step approach throughly covering one and two point perspective and a basic introduction to three point.

One aspect of picture making that is always of great concern to figurative artists is the arrangement and organization of space. Ever since the Renaissance, a working of knowledge of the mechanics of linear perspective has been absolutely necessary in the development of realistic images. This is as true today as it was then. The study of perspective provides the means of arranging multiple figures, objects, and architectural elements into a cohesive whole that can help provide not only the setting for narrative images, but can also be used to heighten the drama and sense of poetry in a work.
